KMUH, 2 other hospitals slapped with hefty fines for fraud
KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan — The Department of Health (DOH) announced yesterday severe penalties on three hospitals for medical and insurance frauds, including a stiff fine of NT$150 million (US$4.75 million) for the Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital (KMUH) in southern Taiwan.
